Welcome to Yoga Fusion with Wendy

Yoga Fusion is about moving together with purpose to build strength, balance and flexibility through the different branches of Yoga;

Hatha, Vinyasa, Yin and Yogalates.

About Me

I have been into fitness since the Age of 17 and enjoyed the daily high intensity classes.  Over time, my back pain was so severe that I began to struggle with walking. I had already introduced Pilates & Yoga into my weekly regime and then COVID hit.  I stopped the high intensity classes and turned to Pilates and Yoga and these classes became my new way forward. Not only did Yoga and Pilates help me, they re-shaped the way I approach movement and overall wellbeing.

What began as a way to recover, has grown into a passion for helping others move mindfully, protect their bodies and find balance.

Yoga Fusion combines traditional asana with light weights and resistance bands to support joint health, build strength and improve flexibility.

I am trained in Hatha, Vinyasa Yoga and in 2026 I will be expanding my practice further by training in Yin and Yogalates.

I can offer 1:1 sessions, private group classes and class cover when you need support

Yoga Styles

Hatha Yoga

Hatha

Hatha in sanskrit means Ha (sun), Tha (moon) recognising the balance between the opposing energies (active/passive, strength/flexibility, effort/ease).  Hatha focusses on alignment, mindfulness and steady movement.

Yin

Yin yoga is a slow style of yoga that focuses on the deeper tissues with stretching and stillness.  Yin will balance the body from the more Yang (Vinyasa) practices.  The long holds in Yin will help release tension and  improve joint mobility.

Yoga pose

Vinyasa

Vinyasa in sanskrit means to place in a special way'.  Vinyasa is more dynamic than Hatha and links breath with movement and builds heat, endurance, flexibility and focus.

Yogalates

Yogalates is a fusion of Yoga and Pilates combining the mind and body awareness and the flexibility of yoga  with the core strength of Pilates using light weights and resistance bands.
